Can't find Skilled Workers?
As you may be aware that Immigration SA is the key agency responsible for driving the State’s Migration program to address this State’s strategic and skills needs.
The Commonwealth Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) is organising a Skills Expo on 11-12 September 2010. South Australia will be represented by an officer from Immigration SA and our representative in Agent-Generals' Office, London.
This expo is targeted at pre-screened skilled and professionally qualified candidates who are interested in living and working in Australia. Potential Migrants visit these Expos to research and identify the employment opportunities that exist for them in Australia. Past Skills expos have been very well attended and have been operating since 2005.
To assist Immigration SA to target candidates that meet your skills needs, we would like to encourage you to attend the Expo, to source suitably qualified candidates for jobs that are on the ground in South Australia.
Your attendance will provide you with the opportunity to participate in the ‘Government of South Australia’ Stand (with our representatives), meet face-to-face with potential applicants, access their CVs and possibly conduct interviews. This may lead to job offers or consideration of job offers in the near future.

If you are interested in accessing a potentially large pool of candidates who have the required qualifications, work experience and language skills, to meet your recruitment difficulties, please register your interest with: Elsa Lee-McGill, Expo Manager, Phone 02 6264 4229 or Merri Carter at
